细心观察中国大陆地区各托福，雅思考点的报名情况，不难发现这两个考试均出现供不应求的情况。在大部分的雅思考点中，从07年1月起就只能报考07年4月份以后的考试，因此可以想象报名情况是多么的火爆。而与雅思齐名的托福，情况也相当火爆，从去年的报名开始，非常紧张，而今年1月开始，很多考生就已经也只能报4月份以后的考试。这对于许多想急于出国留学的考生来说，非常不方便。
因此，许多华南地区的考生，甚至于华东，华北地区的考生，都把目光投向香港，不远千里去香港考试。可以说，去香港考试，已经慢慢地成为一种趋势，为此，我们适时地搜集了关于在香港报考雅思与托福的流程，以供各考生参考。其实，在香港报考，费用跟中国大陆地区差不多，流程方面也不算复杂，但可能交通和住宿会成为一个问题，我们也正在收集有关去香港的交通路线，以及在考点附近的住宿信息，务求及时提供给大家，方便广大考生。

APPLICATION
• Fill in the application form
• Two recent passport-sized photographs (the photograph will appear on your final test report)
• A copy of your HKID card or passport
• A copy of your previous IELTS Test Report Form (TRF) (if applicable)
• Test Fee: HK$1500
• For registration, by post or in person at our Customer Services Centre
• Payment Method:
By post - by cheque (made payable to 'British Council')
In person - by Credit Card or EPS by cheque (made payable to 'British Council').
IELTS is not recommended for candidates under the age of 16.
No refund will be made for cancellation of examinations under any circumstances.
CONFIRMATION
• Upon registration, confirmation of registration is given / sent to candidates stating the test date.
• A letter confirming the test venue and speaking time slot will be sent to all candidates one week before the test.
DAY OF THE TEST
• Candidates must have the same identity card/passport as the number entered on the application form.
• Late-comers will NOT be admitted.
• You may ONLY bring your ID/passport into the examination room. All other personal belongings
(including confirmation letter, mobile phones, pencil cases and personal valuables) must be placed in
the designated area outside the examination room.
• Candidates are not allowed to leave the test room during any module.
RESULTS
• Results are given on a Test Report Form (TRF). It will be mailed to you 13 calendar days after the test.
Please note that candidates will be sent only one copy of the Test Report Form.
• We are not permitted to give results out over the phone nor by fax or email.
• Within one month of the test report issue date, you may request up to five additional copies to be sent to
academic institutions/government agencies/professional bodies/employers. An administrative fee will be
charged for any further copies beyond these five.

• 填写申请表格
• 两张近期的护照尺寸大小的相片 (这张相片将会出现在你的成绩单上)
• 本人的香港身份证或护照的复印件
• 上一份IELTS Test Report Form (TRF) 的复印件(可选)

不允许16周岁以下的人士参加IELTS考试

4． 确认工作
• 确认后，考试的有关资料将会送到考生手上。
• 有关考试的时间地点，包括口试的时间地点将会以邮寄方式在考试前一周送到考生手上。
5． 考试当天
• 考生必须携带在与申请书上一致的香港身份证或护照。
• 迟到的考生将会被取消考试资格。
• 你只允许携带身份证或护照进入考场。其他个人物品（包括确认信，手机，及其他个人贵重东西）必须放在考场外指定的地方。
• 考生在考试期间不允许离开考场。
6． 成绩公布
• 考试成绩连同Test Report Form (TRF)将会在考试结束会13天内邮寄到考生手上。 请注意：Test Report Form (TRF)将只会有一份
• 我们不会通过电话，传真或邮件的方式公布成绩
• 在test report公布的一个月内,你可以要求最多五份的test report寄去高等院校，政府机关，公司等。五份以上将会加收有关费用。
